Clubcard Vancouver offers fast printing of coil bound booklets, calendars catalogues and reports on a variety of paper stocks.  Print books in any size from 4" x 4" to 9" x 12".

Coil binding, also known as spiral binding binds your book together with a spring-like plastic coil that spirals through holes punched on edge of the book. 

We print coil bound books in full colour on uncoated, recycled or glossy paper with a self cover (meaning all pages are on the same stock) or with a card stock cover on the front and back. 

Coil colours: we use black coils as standard, if you would like another colour please ask about available colours and timelines (usually 5 business days).

Technical Specifications + Templates

Bleeds: all files must have a 1/8" bleed on each side.
Crop Marks: submit pages without crop marks or the order may be placed on hold.
Single Pages: submit artwork for booklets in single pages (either single files or as part of a multi page pdf) instead of spreads.
Spot White: Include a separate file/artboard with these elements coloured with Pantone Black to denote the special finishing. Alternatively, if you would like to include these elements in the same file, place these elements on a separate layer and coloured with a Pantone colour (typically Pantone Black) that denotes the Spot White.
Live Area: keep all critical text and artwork 1/8" inside the trim
Colours: supply your files in CMYK colour (Pantone/RGB colours will be converted or rejected)
Resolution: 300 dpi minimum (400 dpi preferred)
Fonts: fonts must converted to curves/outlines (we do not accept fonts).
Transparencies: flatten all transparencies
Types Of Files We Accept: MAC & PC files from Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (EPS or AI), CorelDraw (CDR or EPS), Adobe Acrobat PDF, TIFF or JPEG.
